HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR SOY CANDLES

  • let the wax pool
allow your candle to burn until the entire top is melted. this prevents "tunneling" and promotes a strong scent throw.
  • keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" at all times
this minimizes the amount of smoke emitted and keeps the burn slow and clean.
  • burn in a safe environment
keep lit candles on a level surface, away from flammable objects, drafts, kids, and pets
    • do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
this can cause the wicks to smoke and the glass to overheat
  • when 1/2" of wax is left in the candle, it's time for a new one
jars and tins can be cleaned out and repurposed

FAQ

  • What's so special about coconut soy candles?
Our candles are made with 100 percent coconut soy wax that is grown and harvested in the United States. Soybeans are a renewable resource and coconut soy wax is a more sustainable form of wax, compared to others like paraffin and soy blends. It is also vegan friendly and does not involve animals at any point in the production.
coconut soy wax burns slower and softer than traditional waxes and promotes a clean, soot-free burn and a subtle scent to enhance your space.
  • How do I reuse the jars?
We source containers that are modern and versatile so that they can be reused in any space. To repurpose your jar, allow the candle to burn until there is 1/2" of wax left. Allow the container to cool completely, put the container in the freezer until the wax has hardened, and use a spoon to pop the hardened wax and wick out of the container. Use hot water and soap to clean out the container and use it for cotton balls, craft supplies, potting a new plant, whatever you can think of! Please throw away the remaining 1/2" of wax . While coconut soy wax is eco-friendly and biodegradable, it should never be poured down the drain.
  • How do I make the scent stronger?
First, make sure you are following all of the Candle Care steps listed above. Second, check the room size. The size of the room greatly affects the scent throw and a small candle in a large room is not likely to produce a ton of scent! Here is a quick guide to room size and scent throw:

Small Rooms: 4 oz, 7 oz, and 8 oz candles
Medium Rooms: 7 oz and 8 oz candles for a softer scent. 10 oz and 15 oz moderate scent. 18 oz candles for maximum scent
Large Rooms: 18 oz or multiple smaller sizes burned at the same time
